Welcome! Please see below for some information. A great place to start for most health professions is the Health Match BC site. Each province has a process of registration (akin to state licensure) and will evaluate your credentials. For nurses, see the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives. For Physicians see the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. For most Allied Health Professionals, see College of Health and Care Professionals of BC. Generally speaking, the first step in coming to Canada is to secure a job offer. After that, you’ll work with your employer to help you through the immigration process.

At the Divisions of BC level, support for community site visits and clinic tours is typically available once you’ve initiated your application for registration and licensure and received a preliminary assessment from the CPSBC. This is why it is important to have connected with HealthMatchBC as your first step!
